The “Polizei” tribute version is unique. It was seen driving around in Alderley Edge, UK in 2016. It was exhibited in Coventry the same year before being sold at auction on 14 September 2018. Sold for $6,812 at CCA Everyman Classics, with a total of 157,000 km.
The front and rear bodywork as well as the chassis are different from the racing version. Note the side bars on the Polizei version as well as the square exterior mirrors. The exhaust pipe on the road version is located at the rear left. It is under the right door on the racing version. Another very distinctive sign is the right-hand drive of this original version in the colours of the German font as well as the design of the rims.
On this new model, the headlights will be up. The gyro and tail lights will light up as in real life.
